A FULL BRAND APPROACH
The Project
SHOCKWAVE is a Canadian company with a global presence, originally founded in 1965. They design and manufacture marine suspension seats for professional and recreational boating markets. They are committed to continual improvement, rigorous testing, safety standards and innovative shock module design, that protects boaters from the shock of wave impact.
The company was looking to expand their product offering into the recreational space and launch their new S5 marine suspension module. M1 Agency partnered with SHOCKWAVE to write a go-to-market strategy, full suite of brand materials, campaign and launch across 5 countries.

We conducted a comprehensive review of all SHOCKWAVE’s branding assets, ranging from packaging and brochures to sales sheets, trade show materials, merchandise, and advertising campaigns.
Our goal was to establish a cohesive brand identity across all platforms, while maintaining the highest standards of creative execution.
Working with SHOCKWAVE, we reviewed their entire brand and all customer touch-points that had the most impact in the customer journey. This meant defining the brand’s DNA, establishing a communication platform and revising the logo and creating a new tagline applicable for their Professional division and new Recreational business.
With all the brand elements, collateral and website in place our primary focus with Shockwave was to launch their new recreational product range, featuring the S5 Marine Suspension Module as the flagship offering. The new tv ad, scripted, shot, and produced by M1 Agency was employed in television campaigns and digital advertising supported by the new website, print ads, sales materials, and trade show assets.

OUR PARTNERSHIP GOES BEYOND ADVERTISING
A cornerstone of this branding initiative was the conceptualization and creation of a state-of-the-art website.
The objective was to solidify the brand’s presence in the recreational market while reinforcing its professional standing. The newly launched website prominently features their latest offering, the S5, and incorporates an e-commerce platform that enables seamless online purchases for visitors.

The RESULTS
Focusing on the Recreational product line we were able to produce an entire suite of marketing materials to support the global launch. Sales of the S5 Marine Suspension Module saw an incredible 219% revenue growth with a 144% ROI in the second year. In addition, we supported the Professional B2B business helping the company grow 15% year-on-year.
