ALIGNING BUSINESSES UNDER ONE BRAND

PROJECT

The Project

Since 2003, VIFM has assembled experts fostering safety, professionalism, and hard work in remote coastal projects. As a prime contractor, they manage complex operations in remote BC, aligning industry with Indigenous communities and training local talent. VIFM ensures compliance with high standards across forestry, marine services, accommodations, waterworks, and emergency preparedness, serving as a trusted resource management partner.

 

We partnered with VIFM to help better communicate their complex organizational set-up. They worked to enhanced VIFM’s brand presence through a new identity, brand guidelines, website development, and over 50 marketing assets including business cards, brochures, and video production, ensuring a consistent, professional brand experience.

We overhauled Vancouver Island Forest & Marine’s (VIFM) brand, refining their identity, messaging, and visual style.

 

They unified VIFM’s diverse services under one brand, creating a clear tone of voice and a compelling tagline. We also designed a range of marketing materials, from business cards to social media templates, all aligned with the new brand guidelines. Specialized items like barge floor plans and truck decals were created for industry-specific needs. The result is a cohesive brand that effectively communicates VIFM’s expertise in forestry, marine operations, and safety training.

We were able to amplify VIFM’s brand through compelling storytelling with our boots-on-the-ground video and photography engagement. 

 

We produced key videos showcasing VIFM’s diverse range of services and partnerships across communities, such as a powerful “Who We Are” video, as well as detailed training videos including with the Malahat First Nation for wildfire suppression, and Ascent Helicopters for search and rescue. 

 

By building a versatile content library, we ensure ongoing asset utilization, maximizing ROI, and supporting VIFM’s growth with adaptable video content across all platforms.
