MarineLabs is a coastal intelligence company and real-time data provider, whose data is transforming marine safety and helping to build climate-resilient coastlines. Founded in 2017, the B.C.-based company offers high resolution real-time wind, wave, and weather intelligence as well as AI-driven insights from a North America wide fleet of cloud-connected, rugged instruments.

 

MarineLabs sought our team’s expertise to rebrand, build a new website, and position themselves as leaders in real-time marine insights through consistent marketing materials.

We worked with Palli Palli Mobile Paddle Board Rentals, utilizing our creativity to design a brand that captures their adventurous spirit.

 

We developed the name, logo, and brand identity, including typeface, colors, and framework.

 

We maintained consistent branding for Palli Palli Mobile Paddle Board Rentals across all customer touch-points, including their website, car wraps, board designs, brochures, collateral, email marketing, and social media management.

 

With all the brand elements, collateral and website in place our next priority was to launch this new brand and run campaigns to build awareness and drive rental and board sales.

We delivered a comprehensive brand overhaul for MarineLabs, including a new logo, typography, color palette, and brand guidelines.

The logo symbolizes MarineLabs’ oceanic data intelligence mission through a faceted wave cross-section composed of triangular data points within a square frame.

This design embodies precision, accuracy, and the dynamic nature of the marine environment they analyze. The thoughtful amalgamation underscores MarineLabs’ commitment to harnessing data for maritime safety and operations.

We meticulously crafted a comprehensive suite of marketing assets for MarineLabs, adhering to the newly established brand guidelines.

This included business cards, letterhead, social media templates, presentation decks, e-signature, newsletter headers, and pop-up banners. 

Each asset was thoughtfully designed to reflect the brand’s essence, ensuring a cohesive and consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.

The attention to detail in aligning every element with the guidelines solidified MarineLabs’ professional and unified brand identity.

Our’s strategic rebranding and marketing efforts yielded remarkable results for MarineLabs. Website traffic has increased by 119%, with a 13% increase in engagement. MarineLabs raised the largest seed round in Canadian ocean technology history, securing $4.5 million from BDC Capital’s Sustainability Venture Fund and Seaspan Shipyards. This historic investment will accelerate product development, expand market reach, and strengthen MarineLabs’ position as an industry leader. The cohesive brand identity and consistent messaging across all touchpoints elevated MarineLabs’ industry presence.
